Position: Full-Time Early Childhood Educator at YMCA
Make an impact with YMCA as a Full-Time Early Childhood Educator in Nanook. Support children's development and learning in a safe, engaging environment from 7:15 am to 6:00 pm.

The YMCA in Nanook is offering a temporary full-time position for an Early Childhood Educator, starting as soon as possible. Ideal candidates will have basic ECE certification and strong communication skills, while experience with special needs is a plus. This role involves designing engaging programs based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative, quality care to children daily

• Build positive relationships with families and children

• Collaborate with team members for a supportive atmosphere

• Implement age-appropriate programs following curriculum guidelines

• Maintain a clean and safe childcare environment

Requirements:

• Basic ECE certification recognized in British Columbia

• Emergency First Aid and CPR-C & AED certificate

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• References and a Criminal Record check required

• Training in child growth and development is advantageous
