Position: Full-Time Electrical Faculty at BCIT
Become a key educator in the Electrical Trades with BCIT's School of Construction and the Environment. This temporary, full-time role involves instructing apprentices and shaping the next generation of electricians.

BCIT is seeking a temporary full-time Faculty member in Electrical. The position offers a unique chance to teach both Construction and Industrial Electrician programs. Utilize your industry knowledge while working within a dynamic, team-oriented environment focused on innovation and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to apprenticeship and foundation students

• Prepare engaging classroom lectures and lab sessions

• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

• Develop curriculum and improve program content

• Collaborate with the Electrical Trades Department Head

Requirements:

• BC Trades Certificate with Inter-Provincial Red Seal

• Minimum five years of work experience as a journeyperson

• Supervisory experience is required

• Previous teaching experience is an asset

• Strong communication skills in English
