Douglas College is seeking a Co-Coordinator for the ELLA Department at the Faculty of Language, Literature and Performing Arts. This role is instrumental in facilitating effective planning, development, and delivery of courses, alongside oversight of immersion programs. Collaboration with Douglas International and maintaining communication with various stakeholders is essential for success in this leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convene and chair department meetings

• Communicate effectively with the Dean's Office and external parties

• Oversee faculty work allocation and scheduling

• Ensure smooth operation of immersion programs

• Address emergent concerns in compliance with College policies
Requirements:

• Current ELLA faculty member with 2 years of FTE

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with College policies and agreements

• Previous program coordination experience is a plus
