Location: new westminster
Join the Mathematics Department at Douglas College as a sessional instructor for the 2026/2027 academic year. Teach face-to-face classes at New Westminster or Coquitlam campuses.
We are looking for qualified applicants with a Master’s in Mathematics or related fields to inspire students. Responsibilities include facilitating learning, organizing activities, and evaluating student progress. Successful candidates will possess relevant teaching experience and a passion for motivating learners in disciplines like Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and support students in Mathematics courses
• Facilitate engaging learning activities and evaluation
• Organize resources and plan effective lessons
• Provide academic advice to students
• Maintain a learner-centered approach in teaching
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Mathematics or related field
• Relevant post-secondary teaching experience
• Proven ability to motivate and support students
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Knowledge of educational practices in STEM fields
