The School of Construction and the Environment at BCIT is seeking a Regular Faculty member primarily for the Bachelor of Architectural Science program. In this role, you will deliver engaging lectures, develop industry-aligned curriculum, and mentor future architects. Your expertise will help shape the third and fourth-year courses and contribute to the broader goals of the Bachelor of Architecture program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality instruction through diverse teaching methods
• Continuously develop and improve learning materials and assessments
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Support students with academic mentorship and professional development
• Collaborate on curriculum renewal and accreditation activities
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Registered Architect in Canada or eligible for registration
• Minimum ten years of architectural practice experience
• Post-secondary teaching experience or significant mentoring
• Strong communication skills and industry engagement
