At BCIT, we are looking for a dynamic professional to teach in our Mechanical Engineering department. This role involves developing and instructing courses in our Mechanical Systems Associate Certificate program, engaging with adult learners, and fostering a positive online learning experience. Candidates should have practical knowledge of mechanical systems and a commitment to educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and motivate adult learners in mechanical systems

• Prepare course materials for online delivery

• Maintain an engaging and positive learning environment

• Provide academic support to students

• Record and submit attendance and grades

Requirements:

• Diploma of Technology or Bachelor’s in relevant field

• Three years of experience in mechanical systems design

• Ability to teach remotely with excellent communication skills

• Previous teaching experience preferred

• Passion for motivating adult learners
