The Interior Design Department at BCIT is recruiting for part-time instructors who can deliver courses in Flexible Learning formats. This role involves instructing students in a creative environment, developing course materials, and maintaining thorough records for course management. Your hands-on experience in residential design will greatly enrich the educational experience for your students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and mentor students in the design curriculum

• Create and enhance evaluations and course materials

• Maintain all required course documentation efficiently

• Organize learning resources for effective teaching

• Provide personalized academic support to students

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or relevant field

• Five years of practical experience in residential design

• AKBA Certification and NKBA eligibility preferred

• Familiarity with design software like Auto Cad and Sketch Up

• Previous teaching experience or instructor certification a plus
