Position: BCIT Aviation On-Call Faculty Roles
Join BCIT’s dynamic Aviation Operations team in Burnaby, BC as an on-call faculty member. This role involves teaching essential aviation management and operation courses to future aviation leaders.
As part of the School of Transportation at BCIT, you will join an on-call faculty pool to cover various aviation programs. Candidates are expected to bring expertise in airline and airport operations, aviation safety, and the use of aircraft simulators like B737 Max or Dash 8-Q400. You will facilitate both online and in-person learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction across aviation programs

• Design course materials tailored to student needs

• Employ diverse educational technologies for teaching

• Participate in collaborative faculty activities

• Provide coverage during faculty absences
Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Business, Adult Education, or aviation

• Over five years of relevant experience in the aviation sector

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

• Familiarity with educational tools and simulation software

• Completion of an instructional course is beneficial
