Exciting hybrid opportunity as a Coordinator for the Disability and Classroom Support program at the Faculty of Applied Community Studies in Coquitlam. Utilize your academic expertise to motivate students.
The Faculty seeks a dedicated professional to oversee practicum placements and assist in scheduling while enhancing faculty collaboration within the DACS program. This role emphasizes responsiveness to student needs and engagement, fostering diverse and equitable learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage student placements and coordinate with faculty
• Develop and oversee curriculum in accordance with policies
• Provide academic guidance in scheduled sessions
• Facilitate faculty meetings and distribute minutes
• Organize program advisory committee activities
Requirements:
• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a relevant field
• Proven collaboration and communication skills
• Experience in managing academic inquiries
• Strong emphasis on diversity and student accessibility
• Conflict of commitment awareness
