Position: Part-Time Instructor for Interior Design
Join BCIT’s Interior Design Department as a part-time Instructor to deliver Flexible Learning courses. Share your knowledge in a supportive environment while shaping future designers every term.

BCIT seeks temporary, part-time Instructors to engage creative minds in an enriching learning atmosphere. You’ll instruct students, provide academic support, and continuously enhance course materials and curricula. Ideal candidates possess expertise in residential or commercial design with a minimum of five years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and guide students in Interior Design concepts

• Maintain a positive, creative learning environment

• Develop and improve course outlines and evaluations

• Prepare and organize course materials and resources

• Maintain accurate course records and evaluations

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design

• Minimum five years of industry experience

• NCIDQ Certification or willingness to pursue

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Photoshop, In Design

• Previous teaching experience is an asset
