Sprott Shaw College seeks a qualified Practical Nursing Instructor to teach curriculum and assess student performance. Candidates must hold a valid nursing license and possess a minimum of three years of nursing experience. This position involves participating in faculty meetings and supervising students during clinical placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct curriculum using approved Sprott Shaw materials
• Administer assessments and provide constructive feedback
• Attend faculty meetings and training sessions
• Support students during clinical placements
• Contribute to the maintenance of course curriculum
Requirements:
• Active nursing license with BCCNM
• Adult Instruction Certification (within 2 years)
• Three years of recent full-time nursing experience
• Demonstrated teaching ability with adult learners
• Knowledge of Canadian healthcare system
