As part of the School of Communication, your focus will be on advising undergraduate students throughout their academic journeys. You will assist with course planning, graduation processes, and data management. Collaborating with faculty and staff, you will ensure timely guidance and a smooth transition for students from admission to graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide academic advice and resources for students
• Support course planning and assist with graduations
• Maintain enrolment data and program accuracy
• Collaborate with faculty for student success initiatives
• Identify improvements in advising workflows
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Three years of related experience encompassing academic advising
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Proficient in SIMS and relevant software applications
• Effective at managing multiple tasks and confidential information
Enhance the academic experience of students at SFU through comprehensive advising and support.
