Faculty Positions in Aviation at BCIT

Share your aviation expertise with students at BCIT’s Aerospace Technology Campus in Burnaby, BC. We are looking for on-call faculty members to teach a range of aviation programs.

The Aviation Operations team at BCIT invites qualified educators to its on-call faculty pool for covering Aviation Management and Operations programs. Applicants should be skilled in areas such as airline operations, aviation statistics, and will ideally have hands-on aircraft simulator experience, specifically with B737 Max or ALSIM 250. The role supports both virtual and face-to-face learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach aviation courses focused on management and operations

• Create engaging educational materials for various delivery modes

• Use educational technologies effectively in instruction

• Collaborate with the academic team

• Fill in for absences of regular faculty

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Business, Education, or aviation-related studies

• Five or more years in aviation management or operations

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficient with MS Office and learning management systems

• Instructional techniques course completion is an asset
