Faculty of Language Co-Coordinator Position

Shape student journeys in the ELLA Department at Douglas College as a Co-Coordinator. Enhance academic environments through collaborative program leadership and innovation.
The Faculty of Language, Literature, and Performing Arts at Douglas College is looking for a Co-Coordinator for the ELLA Department. This position requires effective leadership and collaborative skills for course planning and program delivery. You will work closely with faculty, administration, and external entities to enrich the educational experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chair and organize department meetings

• Participate in FEC and DAC meetings

• Ensure timely communications with all stakeholders

• Manage faculty scheduling and workload distribution

• Oversee immersion program operations
Requirements:

• Regular ELLA faculty with minimum 2 years FTE service

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of College policies and collective agreements

• Leadership experience in program coordination preferred
