Position: BCIT Co-op Programs Coordinator Role

This comprehensive full-time role requires you to educate students on employment readiness and evaluate their co-op experiences. You will advocate for students while fostering relationships with employers and faculty. By leading program enhancements and offering career counseling, you impact the credibility and success of co-op opportunities at BCIT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for co-op programs

• Educate students through pre-employment courses

• Evaluate on-the-job learning and co-op outcomes

• Ensure work term quality through employer visits

• Advocate for students in workplace settings
Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred

• Three years’ experience in cooperative education

• Experience in curriculum development and teaching

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Knowledge of employment and labour policies
