Position: Digital Design Faculty for Prosthetics
Become part of BCIT's School of Health Sciences as a part-time faculty member specializing in digital design for the Prosthetics and Orthotics Program. Engage in curriculum development and classroom instruction while honing students' skills in digital workflows.

This temporary role encompasses both curriculum development and in-person instruction at BCIT’s Burnaby campus. Focusing on hands-on learning, you will guide students in 3D scanning, digital modeling, and additive manufacturing. Your expertise will empower future professionals in the field of prosthetics and orthotics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop curriculum focusing on digital design in prosthetics

• Implement hands-on learning activities for student competency

• Provide instruction in Autodesk Fusion 360 and Nomad Sculpt

• Integrate digital workflows with course deliverables

• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in industrial design or related field

• Proven expertise in digital fabrication and scanning

• Experience teaching or developing instructional materials

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Background in healthcare or prosthetics preferred
