As an expert in academic assessments, you will evaluate applications for engineering and geoscience candidates, ensuring compliance with established policies. Your responsibilities include training staff, supporting volunteers, and working closely with the Academic Examiners Subcommittee for effective evaluations. You will help streamline the credentialing process by providing input on policy improvements and coordinating necessary training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate candidates' academic qualifications thoroughly
• Advise applicants on their evaluation journey
• Prepare training materials and guide new staff
• Coordinate academic syllabus updates with Engineers Canada
• Track committee reviews and assist in volunteer development
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of relevant assessment experience
• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or similar
• Experience in career mentoring or development
• Effective project management abilities
• Strong organizational and communication skills
