Part-Time Math and Science Tutor

Oxford Learning New Westminster is looking for dedicated part-time Teacher-Tutors for Grades 6 to 12. This role involves working directly with students to improve their math and science skills using existing lesson plans. You will need strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of senior math topics and science curricula, all while being available during evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students simultaneously

• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies during sessions

• Provide post-lesson notes and student updates

• Foster a friendly and professional learning environment

• Assist students in building confidence in their abilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• Experience tutoring math and science (Grades 1-12)

• Strong math abilities and communication skills

• Capacity to multitask effectively

• Must pass vulnerable sector screening
