BCIT is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptive instructor for the Fall 2026 term. The part-time position involves delivering lectures, facilitating interactive sessions, and assessing student projects. Tailoring course content to match your expertise is essential, and you will support students in mastering geospatial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver informative lectures and engage students actively
• Assess student projects and offer constructive feedback
• Modify course content tailored to your expertise
• Facilitate practical learning experiences for students
• Adjust course materials based on team suggestions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in geospatial or environmental science
• Strong GIS knowledge, particularly ArcGIS Pro
• Experience in environmental data analysis
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
• Ability to adapt to program changes
