Architectural Faculty at BCIT

At BCIT’s School of Construction and the Environment, we are looking for a regular full-time Faculty member. The ideal candidate brings ten years of North American industry experience, a Registered Architect status with AIBC, and a passion for teaching excellence.

Your role will encompass delivering lectures, hands-on labs, and organizing field trips to enhance student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction through lectures and labs

• Develop curriculum aligned with industry standards

• Assess student learning with constructive feedback

• Organize field trips and guest speaker events

• Mentor students to support academic success

Requirements:

• Registered Architect with AIBC or eligible

• Minimum ten years of recent industry experience

• Advanced knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD

• Experience in teaching is an asset

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
