Position: Dean of Science at Langara College
Lead the Faculty of Science at Langara College, offering guidance on academic programs, curriculum, and strategic initiatives in Vancouver, B.C. Cultivate collaborative partnerships enhancing student success and wellbeing.

The Dean of the Faculty of Science provides strategic leadership and administration to a diverse range of STEM programs, including diplomas and bachelor's degrees. This permanent role demands a leader with at least ten years of experience in post-secondary education, focusing on curriculum development and applied research. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive internal culture and enhancing student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and articulate strategic vision and mission for the Faculty

• Oversee program development and curriculum integrity

• Manage human resources and mentor faculty and staff

• Develop annual budgeting and resource allocation plans

• Represent the College at internal and external events

Requirements:

• Relevant graduate degree, PhD preferred

• Minimum 10 years' experience in education management

• Proven track record in curriculum development

• Strong knowledge of budgeting processes

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
