Faculty Applied AI Systems

Position: Faculty for Applied AI Systems at Alexander College
Contribute to AI education at Alexander College as a full-time faculty member for the Bachelor of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence degree. Drive the curriculum in machine learning, natural language processing, and more.

The position requires a PhD in Computer Science or a Master’s with considerable experience. Candidates will teach a variety of applied computing courses while supporting course development and AI research. Teaching duties will encompass 100- to 400-level courses, emphasizing scholarly research and ethical AI use in diverse fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver 100- and 200-level courses

• Teach 100- to 400-level courses focusing on applied AI

• Collaborate with the Alexander Innovation Centre on AI research

• Engage in curriculum development and scholarly activities

• Foster an inclusive learning environment for diverse students

Requirements:

• PhD in relevant fields or extensive industry experience

• Proven post-secondary teaching excellence

• Strong proficiency in educational technology

• Excellent interpersonal and instructional skills

• Mastery of Microsoft Office programs and online learning tools
