Part-Time Surveying Instructor

In this instructor position, you'll facilitate student learning according to the curriculum. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of surveying equipment, including levels and total stations. Additionally, having experience with GPS is beneficial, and instructional experience or a willingness to learn is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, and exams

• Teach approved curriculum and manage classroom activities

• Advise students on learning outcomes and activities

• Administer exams and report final grades promptly

• Maintain student attendance records as required

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of survey field experience

• Knowledge of surveying and GPS equipment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with educational technology and learning management systems

• Registration with ASTTBC as a technologist is an asset
