Science Faculty Dean

Position: Langara College Science Faculty Dean
Assume leadership as Dean of the Faculty of Science at Langara College, managing curriculum and academic programs in a vibrant Vancouver campus. Drive innovation and student engagement across diverse scientific fields.

As the Dean, you will oversee an array of programs including microcredentials, diplomas, and degrees in STEM disciplines. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and program oversight within post-secondary education. Collaborating with faculty, students, and industry partners, you will enhance the Faculty's vision and operational effectiveness in line with Langara’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Articulate the Faculty's strategic vision in alignment with college goals

• Ensure quality and integrity in academic offerings

• Manage faculty and staff resources effectively

• Lead budget development and resource allocation initiatives

• Act as the College’s ambassador at community and educational events

Requirements:

• PhD or related graduate degree

• At least 10 years of relevant educational experience

• Expertise in applied research and curriculum development

• Advanced understanding of budgetary processes

• Strong ability to foster collaboration and communication
