Part-Time International Support Specialist

The International Support Specialist works three days a week, collaborating with the International Education Office and district staff. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required, with Spanish as an asset. Your responsibilities will include maintaining contact with students and their guardians, facilitating orientations, and managing communication between all parties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate culturally sensitive communication with students and guardians
• Maintain contact with international students and custodians
• Assist with school orientations for students and families
• Monitor international student attendance and support discipline needs
• Participate in workshops and supervise field trips
Requirements:
• University degree plus three years relevant experience
• Experience working with youth in multicultural settings
• Ability to build relationships with youth
• Valid B.C. Driver's License (Class 4 preferred)
• Knowledge of computer applications related to the role
