Part-Time Medical Laboratory Science Instructor

Support BCIT’s Medical Laboratory Science Program as a part-time Assistant Instructor. Engage students in curriculum delivery while preparing teaching materials and conducting labs.

This role, at BCIT's School of Health Sciences, requires a passionate educator to assist the lead instructor. Key responsibilities include developing curriculum aligned with CAMLPR standards, organizing lab supplies, and conducting assessments. The ideal candidate must leverage their expertise in Medical Laboratory Science to enrich student learning experiences and enhance program quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in curriculum development for Medical Laboratory Science

• Prepare supplementary course materials for labs

• Demonstrate lab techniques to students

• Assess student evaluations and provide feedback

• Maintain teaching lab inventory and quality assurance

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program

• Minimum five years' experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist

• Registration with CSMLS or CAMLPR

• Strong communication and teaching skills

• Ability to work independently and lead effectively
