Part-Time Education Assistant at St. George’s

Join the Learning Support team rge’s Senior School as a part-time Education Assistant. Support neurodiverse students and collaborate with dedicated teachers in an inspiring environment.

This one-year contract role requires 28 hours per week from August 2026. Ideal candidates are certified Education Assistants with 1-3 years of experience in supporting students with ADHD and ASD. You will work closely with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) while fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to support student resources

• Assist students needing additional attention throughout the day

• Implement strategies from IEPs or BSPs

• Document student progress and behaviors effectively

• Participate in meetings regarding student learning

Requirements:

• Education Assistant Certificate or equivalent required

• 1-3 years of experience in secondary education

• Familiarity with documenting student progress

• Experience in diverse subjects preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills
