This temporary faculty position involves instructing in the Red Seal Instrumentation and Control Technician Apprenticeship program. You will engage students with classroom lectures and lab projects while continually updating lesson materials. Staying connected with industry is essential to ensure that your teaching reflects current trends and practices in industrial control. Shift work and potential travel may be required based on the program needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Red Seal Instrumentation and Control Technician courses

• Prepare engaging class lectures and laboratory projects

• Maintain lesson materials in line with industry standards

• Collaborate with industry to enhance curriculum

• Facilitate exams and assess student performance

Requirements:

• Red Seal in Instrumentation and Control or Engineering

• Minimum five years industry experience required

• Strong written and oral English communication skills

• Basic computer literacy including MS Office

• Effective teaching and interpersonal skills
