Position: Casual Student Assistant for NLSchools
Support K-12 students as a Casual Student Assistant with NLSchools in the Springdale area. This role focuses on personal care, mobility support, and facilitating student engagement through various educational activities.

The Student Assistant position is essential in providing inclusive support within K-12 school systems. Working under the guidance of teachers, you will assist students in participating actively in school life, including events and field trips. You are also expected to follow safety protocols and maintain confidentiality while performing assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and mobility assistance to students

• Facilitate student participation in school events

• Follow emergency procedures and safety protocols

• Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school affairs

• Assist in enhancing student self-determination and agency

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience with children in work or volunteer roles

• Training in First Aid and behaviour management is an asset

• Preferred qualifications in ECE or Special Education

• Police Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Query needed
