The British Columbia Institute of Technology seeks a knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructor to teach the Texturing 1 course. This position focuses on image creation and texturing techniques essential for 3D art and animation. Instructors must deliver effective teachings while guiding students in hands-on projects and practical applications that align with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct on 3D texturing and image manipulation standards
• Evaluate student progress and provide mentorship
• Create and maintain dynamic course materials
• Encourage collaboration among students and faculty
• Uphold curriculum integrity in line with the industry
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Graphics or related discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience in texturing
• Expertise in Autodesk Maya UV workflows
• Proficient with Adobe Substance 3D tools
• Strong mentoring and communication skills in a classroom
