Position Summary BCIT School Of Health Sciences is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE ) Faculty, Radiation Therapy to teach in the Bachelor of Science Radiation Therapy Program.
Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will participate in the preparation and delivery in a variety of radiation therapy lectures and labs with an emphasis on radiation therapy principles; as well as provide assessment of student learning.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS :
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy required.
Master’s degree preferred (in education, health sciences or other relevant designation); if not, the successful candidate should anticipate completing a Master’s degree within 5 years of commencing.
License(s)/Certifications(s):
Current registration or eligibility to register with CAMRT (radiation therapy).
Experience:
Minimum three (3) years’ recent relevant clinical experience in radiation therapy.
Experience with education practices, student instruction and evaluation preferred but not required.
Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to organize work and complete on deadline
Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Computer proficiency in a Windows-based environment.

Salary Range Salary Range Salary range: $69,006 - $120,460 per annum.
Additional Salary Information Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
