Position Summary
BCIT’s School of Construction and the Environment is seeking temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Welding to teach in our Welding programs. BCIT is one of Canada’s largest post-secondary institutes, with more than 45,000 students enrolled in certificate, diploma, apprenticeship and degree programs. Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities within the Welding Department include instruction of apprentice & entry level to upgrading of journeymen on multi-process procedures. Preparing lesson plans, classroom lectures, practical demonstrations, care, repairing, and maintenance of equipment and working collectively with the Department Head and support staff.
