SFU Regional and Young Alumni Manager

Drive alumni engagement initiatives as the Regional and Young Alumni Manager at Simon Fraser University. This hybrid role focuses on event strategy, volunteer management, and community engagement.

In this leadership role, you will oversee SFU Alumni Relations' regional engagement and events. You will also manage the global alumni ambassador program while developing communication strategies and training for volunteers. This involves creating impactful initiatives that align with strategic priorities and enhance connections among recent graduates and young alumni across culturally diverse regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage regional alumni engagement events

• Oversee the global alumni ambassador volunteer program

• Foster strong relationships with diverse alumni groups

• Implement community engagement strategies for young alumni

• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance alumni relations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree plus five years in program management

• Strong leadership and team support skills

• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal

• Experience with inclusivity in engagement practices

• Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
