Join our client as a Maintenance Foreman for a gas power plant in Grande Prairie, AB, focusing on Electrical and Instrumentation systems. Use your technical expertise to enhance plant operations in this hands-on leadership role.
The Maintenance Foreman position is crucial at our client’s simple-cycle gas power plant. Candidates must possess over 10 years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (E&I) within relevant industries. You will coordinate maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment, and engage with vendors to ensure seamless operations and compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage weekly planning and prioritization of maintenance tasks
• Address maintenance-related inquiries from operators
• Diagnose and troubleshoot E&I systems issues
• Coordinate with OEMs for technical assistance
• Supervise maintenance work and contractor activities
Requirements:
• 10+ years in an E&I or related field
• Background in power generation or industrial work
• Experience with control systems and GE tools
• Effective communicator of technical issues
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
