Microchip seeks an experienced Emulation Design Engineer with a passion for hardware and firmware development. You’ll port SoC designs onto leading emulators and platforms, build test ecosystems, and communicate findings with engineering teams. This position requires a strong understanding of server architectures and effective use of testing tools to enhance verification processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Port complex SoC RTL designs to emulators and FPGA platforms
• Develop hardware for pre-silicon co-verification
• Build scalable test ecosystems for validation
• Create firmware for hardware/firmware co-verification
• Communicate technical findings to engineering teams
Requirements:
• BS/MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years in hardware/firmware development
• Proficient in C, Python, Tcl, and Bash programming
• Experience with Cadence Palladium or similar
• Strong skills in digital design and RTL coding
