Coastal Engineer - Ausenco

Join Ausenco as a Coastal Engineer, contributing to innovative coastal design projects from our Burnaby office or remotely. Leverage your expertise in hydrodynamics and coastal structures while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

This role seeks an experienced Coastal Engineer with 3 to 10 years in hydraulics, hydrodynamics, and coastal structures. You will perform numerical simulations, coastal studies, and design detailed structures, addressing environmental loads and port facility layouts. Your input will help expand Ausenco's coastal services, particularly in digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct coastal studies and wave assessments

• Perform numerical simulations for engineering tools

• Collaborate in the design of coastal facilities

• Support the growth of coastal services

• Work within a multidisciplinary team for project deliverables

Requirements:

• 3 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering; hydraulics diploma preferred

• Strong foundation in computer science, Python experience

• Familiarity with Delft3D numerical modeling tools

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
