Elevate your engineering career with Simon Fraser University as a Mechanical Shift Engineer overseeing energy systems.

This pivotal position within SFU's Facilities Services focuses on HVAC, boilers, and cooling towers. You will operate and optimize energy systems, bringing your problem-solving skills to enhance efficiency and safety. Flexibility will be vital as you help cover shifts for team members during vacations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and optimize energy systems at SFU
• Ensure adherence to Technical Safety BC regulations
• Promote safety and integrity through compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly
• Collaborate with colleagues for operational excellence
Requirements:
• Class 3 Power Engineering Certificate required
• Five years’ experience in mechanical fields
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License needed
• Familiarity with HVAC and safety standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
