Shape the future as a Staff Geospatial Analyst with Geosyntec in multiple Canadian locations. Utilize GIS expertise for impactful environmental projects and data management.
This role requires a Bachelors in geography or a related field, leveraging skills in Esri ArcGIS Pro and Microsoft SQL Server. As a Staff Geospatial Analyst, you’ll design databases, create maps, and develop workflows to support environmental assessments and resource management.
Key Responsibilities- Design and manage relational databases using MS SQL Server
- Develop maps and visualizations with Esri ArcGIS Pro
- Automate GIS tasks using Python in ArcGIS Pro
- Compile and analyze diverse datasets for reports
- Interact with clients for data visualization and management
- Bachelors degree in geography or similar
- Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro required
- Knowledge of web mapping platforms and GIS tools
- Experience with database management software preferred
- Familiarity with GPS data collection practices
