In this pivotal role, you'll lead safety engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle for marine navigation and bridge systems. With over eight years in engineering and six in Systems Engineering, you'll employ your expertise in hazard analysis, safety assessments, and risk mitigation. Your contributions will enhance operational excellence in government and naval applications, shaping safer and more reliable products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain system safety programs and hazard analyses
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate system hazards effectively
• Support safety considerations in system architecture and design
• Collaborate across teams to ensure integrated safety in processes
• Lead safety reviews and certification activities with stakeholders
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering or Physics with relevant experience
• Minimum 8 years in engineering, 6 years in Systems Engineering
• Experience in marine electronics a significant asset
• Proven leadership on engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of safety engineering principles
Lead safety initiatives at OSI while enhancing your expertise in marine navigation and systems engineering.
