We are seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to design and manage telecommunication systems for high-voltage substations in North America.
Your role will ensure efficient system functionality and project coordination.
This position requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Telecommunications, and 4-6 years of relevant experience in telecom projects. You will provide engineering drawings, prepare specifications, and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure project success and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and evaluate telecom systems for substations
• Write specifications and prepare materials requirements
• Lead testing and commissioning of telecommunication infrastructure
• Support installation activities and documentation
• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 4-6 years of design experience in high-voltage telecom
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation software
• Excellent technical communication skills
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license
