This role is crucial for expanding our coastal design capabilities across Canada and the U.S. You will guide interdisciplinary teams focused on flood risk, shoreline protection, and restoration while developing innovative resilience strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead coastal engineering and modeling initiatives
• Review and support shoreline management plans
• Mentor staff on coastal process methodologies
• Conduct geomorphological assessments in various environments
• Prepare engineering drawings and technical specifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil, Coastal, or Environmental Engineering
• P.Eng. required in British Columbia; U.S. certification is preferred
• 8+ years of experience in relevant coastal projects
• Proficient in coastal modeling software such as MIKE
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Lead transformative coastal engineering projects with AECOM, shaping resilient infrastructures in Burnaby.
