Become an integral part of environmental initiatives as an Environmental Information Specialist. Emphasize your skills in R programming and data analysis to facilitate critical water resource projects.
This position is tailored for individuals with a solid scientific foundation in hydrology, biology, or related fields. You will engage with various data-driven activities, contribute to the development of analytical tools, and enhance documentation processes.
Your role extends to mentoring colleagues in best practices for effective data analysis and management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage data analysis for water quality and quantity projects
• Conduct automated QAQC checks on environmental datasets
• Develop and enhance R packages for project use
• Create training documents and support project teams
• Provide technical assistance for in-house data management tools
Requirements:
• Degree in science or engineering with relevant coursework
• Expertise in R programming, including Tidyverse
• Experience in water resource monitoring and analysis
• Proficient with data visualization applications like PowerBI
• Knowledge of software development standards and practices
Utilize your data analysis skills to drive successful water resource initiatives, ensuring precision in environmental data management and reporting.
