Temporary Faculty Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

BCIT's Aerospace Technology Campus is hiring temporary faculty to provide instruction in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering for Categories M and
E. In this role, you will engage with students both in-person and remotely, foster improvements in curriculum, and support a dynamic educational environment. This position is available up to 100% FTE, addressing both scheduled and unforeseen absences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct online and in-person classes for theory and shop activities
• Handle student evaluations and administrative duties
• Contribute to curriculum maintenance
• Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff
• Manage resources for teaching efficiency
Requirements:
• Possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license (M or
E)
• Minimum of five years relevant industry experience
• Familiarity with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS)
• Teaching or supervisory experience advantageous
• Effective English communication skills required
