Réalis as a Senior Power System Study Engineer located in Burnaby, BC, or Calgary, AB. Drive significant engineering projects that improve lives worldwide through power system studies. You will play a vital role in defining project budgets and scopes, conducting in-depth studies such as cable sizing and substation bus analysis.
Your responsibilities will also include preparing engineering drawings and coordinating with other engineering disciplines, while guiding junior engineers in software methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Define and manage budgets for power system studies
- Conduct power system studies across various domains
- Prepare and review engineering documentation
- Mentor junior staff in power system modeling
- Conduct design reviews with clients and stakeholders
- At least 8 years of experience in power systems
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Registered PEng with EGBA or APEGA
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of software tools like CDEGS, ETAP, and AutoCAD
