Manufacturing Engineering Co-op at Ballard

In this eight-month full-time position, you will support the Manufacturing Engineering team by enhancing production capabilities and assisting in the analysis of manufacturing data. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in engineering practices, particularly in mechanical or mechatronics, and a proactive attitude to improve existing processes. You will learn valuable industry skills while contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design and development of test processes

• Assist in commissioning assembly fixtures

• Engage in productivity improvement projects

• Develop process flows and quality control documents

• Present analytical findings from test results

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in relevant engineering fields

• Competency in data analysis and Excel usage

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Hands-on experience in lab or manufacturing settings

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
