Position: Power Engineer for Energy Centre
Location: new westminster

Elevate your career as a Power Engineer in hospital services. You will efficiently operate high-pressure steam and hot water systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
We are seeking a 3rd Class Power Engineer to join our team with four years of hands-on experience. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of complex systems, including HVAC and water distribution. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers and chillers

• Monitor Building Automation Systems for efficiency

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems

• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly

• Maintain safety and cleanliness in assigned areas
Requirements:

• 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate from B.C.

• Four years of relevant experience in plant services

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Physical ability to perform job duties

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and mechanical drawings
