AECOM is seeking an Energy Master Planner to join its growing team focused on advancing sustainable, low-carbon, and resilient energy systems for communities, campuses, and large-scale developments.
The Energy Master Planner plays a key role in supporting the development of integrated energy strategies at the community and portfolio level. This includes, but is not limited to, energy and water conservation, onsite generation and storage, district energy systems, microgrids, infrastructure resilience, and advanced monitoring and control systems.
The role involves conducting technical assessments of building and campus energy demand and supporting the development of energy supply strategies using a combination of modelling tools, proprietary platforms, and customized analytical approaches.
Working under limited supervision, the Energy Master Planner is responsible for developing work plans, defining tasks, and contributing to the delivery of small to medium-sized projects. The role requires strong analytical capability and the ability to translate technical data into practical, client-focused solutions.
The position also includes contributing to proposals, supporting project delivery, and participating in stakeholder engagement activities such as interviews, workshops, and charrettes to support collaborative planning processes.
The Energy Master Planner prepares and presents high-quality technical analyses, findings, and recommendations in reports and presentations for clients and internal teams.
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, planning, and sustainability disciplines, and will contribute to AECOM’s mission of delivering innovative and resilient infrastructure solutions.
