Position: Field Service Technologist for Electrical Projects
Shermco Industries is seeking a skilled Field Service Technologist to lead acceptance testing and commissioning of high-voltage electrical projects in British Columbia. Your expertise will ensure safety and technical integrity on-site.

As a full-time professional, you will be at the forefront of high-voltage electrical testing, overseeing field activities and supervising project execution. Your mentorship will help develop field technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and testing protocols. Your strong hands-on experience will guide critical decisions and enhance project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise acceptance testing and commissioning operations

• Oversee testing activities, including functional tests and insulation resistance

• Manage transformer oil processing activities

• Facilitate job planning and coordination

• Ensure safety compliance and documentation accuracy

Requirements:

• 7+ years in electrical testing or commissioning

• 3+ years in a leadership role

• Expertise in SF gas handling

• Valid BC driver’s license and travel capability

• Authorization to work in Canada
