Burnaby Telecom Commissioning Engineer

This position, set for 24 months, involves assessing telecommunications equipment and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. You’ll be pivotal in developing engineering solutions, supporting various project tasks, and reviewing test outcomes while collaborating with senior engineers to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess test results for telecom equipment commissioning
• Draft and issue Test Report Cover Sheets (TRCS)
• Develop engineering designs and solutions
• Assist project management with reporting and scheduling
• Conduct on-site quality control as required
Requirements:
• Graduate in applied science or engineering field
• Professional Engineer registration (P.Eng.) or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in CAD systems and drawing standards
• Strong proficiency in MS Office tools
• Effective English communication skills
