- Design and project management of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater/drainage conveyance facilities
- Prepare documentation for design projects and reports
- Prepare construction cost estimates
- Prepare project specifications and contract documents
- Perform constructability reviews
- Perform contract administration
- Conduct construction inspections
- Client communication and management
- Proposal preparation
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering + 6 years of relevant experience in civil or municipal engineering
- Eligible for registration as P.Eng with EGBC within 6 months
- Experience with water/wastewater/drainage conveyance infrastructure in a municipal environment, including both gravity and pressurized systems
- Experience in proposal writing and job scoping
- Experience with civil engineering, planning, design, construction inspection, contract administration
- Training and experience in managing municipal water and wastewater related projects
- Working knowledge of blue-and-green infrastructure: ponds, wetlands, bioswales, rain gardens, etc.
- Familiarity with hydraulic modeling platforms
- MMCD Contract Administration certification
- Excellent written skills for technical reports
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients
- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position
CAD 120,000 – 140,000 per year
